Hi, I'm Aimee
I am the owner of GLOW Salon. I’ve been in the industry since 2002 working under various salons in Southern CA, Maui, and now Humboldt county. I have a deep love and respect for this industry. It has supported me throughout my career when moving across the ocean to Maui, becoming a mother, and now with this incredible opportunity to own and develop a salon that speaks to my own heart.
This salon has given me an opportunity to provide leading edge, reliable beauty care to everyone in Humboldt County which is something I feel called to do. What excites me most about owning this salon is the collaboration I have with this team. The new ideas and the way we inspire each other makes everyday exciting. Together we have created an environment that is positive and encouraging, and that shows up in the beauty and art that they create every day as hair stylists, manicurists, and estheticians.
This salon has surpassed my vision of having a safe place to hone my craft, it’s a place where ideas are created, shared, and executed.

My curls have been waiting a lifetime to meet Darlene. She does such an awesome job with her dry cut (she understands crazy thick curly hair), highlights and color and suggesting the right styling products. She’s also a sweetheart and fun to talk to which is a real treat when you’re going to spend hours with someone one on one! Highly recommend.
